Mrec advised PPI in strategic care property expansion
Mrec has acted as financial advisor to Public Property Invest ASA (“PPI”) in acquiring three high-quality care properties in Finland for approximately EUR 28 million, strengthening PPI’s position as a leading consolidator of healthcare properties in the Nordics. The portfolio comprises one property in the Helsinki region and two in the Turku region, totaling approximately 8,000 sqm of lettable area with 195 care places. The properties are leased to Attendo and Kototiimi Oy on 15-year contracts. Hartela Oy will construct the properties under a turnkey agreement, with construction commencing during 2025 and completion between autumn 2026 and spring 2027.
“We are proud to continue our advisory relationship with PPI and contribute to their strategic growth in the Finnish care property market. These acquisitions demonstrate the strong fundamentals and investor confidence in Nordic social infrastructure assets,” says Ilari Väisänen, CEO at Mrec.
